The Martin Bayless Free Football Camp is the largest free football camp in the United States. Over the last twenty two years, the camp has served more than 138,000 kids in Dayton, OH, San Diego, CA, Kansas City, MO, Phoenix, AZ, Buffalo, NY and new site, Houston, TX. Along with this donation, the Foundation has donated over $475,000.00 dollars of sports equipment to high school & youth sports programs to date.
In 2010 on average it cost about $650.00 to outfit a High School football player in safe protective equipment, so I am very excited for the schools that have earned the football equipment donation (FED) award and hopefully reaped both football fundamentals and life skills from the camps. It's my dream to continue to nurture young people on and off the field, but more importantly in the field of life.
